The Bikin’Betties! Mountain Biking Adventure Weekend takes place annually in October, in the Columbia Gorge. Six girls are carefully paired with adult female mentors. The intention is to forge a strong relationship between mentor and mentee, while they learn to mountain bike together. As a group, the participants learn biking skills and stress management techniques, and participate in team-building and goal-setting exercises, all working toward the central mission of Betties360 – to build confidence and well being in young women through healthy activity and new challenges.
