The BettiesRock! Outdoor Adventure Weekend takes place at Smith Rock State Park in central Oregon, every year in April or May. Six girls are carefully paired with adult female mentors. The intention is to forge a strong relationship between mentor and mentee, while they learn to climb together. As a group, the participants learn basic rope handling, safety habits, and climbing techniques, in addition to participating in team-building and goal-setting exercises. All of this is working toward the central mission of Betties360 – to build confidence and well being in young women through healthy activity and new challenges.
